CREATING WALLS THAT SPEAK!

Adventures of our Flat Stanley!!

This was the beginning of one documentation panel we created documenting and illustrating the experiences our children were having with our little flat boy (based on the story of “Flat Stanley” written by Jeff Brown) as they learned about the world through his travels!

Documentation panels should be co created with both educators, and can be co created with students. Documentation panels are a way to keep the learning memorable and alive, and act as a window into the classroom and learning for your school community. When sharing documentation with others, the product should be visually appealing in terms of flow and organization, tell a learning story, and communicate a message clearly through flow and organization.
Sharing documentation provides evidence of children s learning in an intentional play based classroom.
